The Physicool Cooling Bandages were seen on BBC2’s Dragons Den last night and successfully managed to secure investment. Kay Russell secured £100,000 investment from Deborah Meaden for a 30% stake in Kay’s Physicool business, who initially was offering a 20% stake.
Physicool Cooling Bandages are a unique reusable medical bandage for injuries that combine cooling with compression, to reduce swelling and quickly stop any discomfort.
Rather than putting cold onto the injury the Physicool bandages draw the heat out by using rapid evaporation techniques.
What makes the Physicool Cooling Bandage so unique, is that it’s reusable with the additional bottles of recharging coolant and lasts for up to 2 hours.
The Physicool Bandage was launched at the London Marathon, where it received plenty of support and is now considered an essential piece of any sports persons kit.
Not only is the Physicool limited to sports, the bandage is also ideal for multiple uses around the home and even for racehorses.
With no need for refrigeration, it’s perfect for trips away and holidays too, making it perfect for a travel first aid kit and to aid with sunburns or injuries.
Available from Boots.com from just £9.99
